Perfecting Your Garden

Gardening is a very soothing past time to have but can cause frustration if you’re making common mistakes. We’ve provided a list of things you may be doing wrong without even realizing it.

1. Water- We all know plants need water but avoid drowning them by watering them too much. Each plant has specific watering needs, make sure you’re aware of those.
2. Pesticides- Gardeners tend to overuse pesticides as well. Read the directions on the label and even use marker tint to indicate which areas you have already sprayed.
3. Soil- It’s great to feed your plants, but soil needs food too. Feed your soil two inches of compost every year to keep it healthy.
